Circus

Circus is a collections that celebrates the Italian heritage of Roman ruins, rendering the inspiration in a contemporary and playful way. Its bright colours pay hommage to the 1970s and the vibrant shades of Space Age design.

Cylinders of different lengths are the pillars of this collection. The circular fluidity of the elements and the play of shadows are an homage to ancient Roman columns and a modern interpretation of Italianity. The inspiration takes shape in different materials and is in constant evolution. It also includes a seating system that is an invitation to sit down together, chat and share ideas, visions and creative energy – as people used to do in ancient Forums.

Spinzi is a creative firm originally from Lake Como and based in Milano, Italy. Drawing inspiration from the rich cultural and industrial heritage of the city, the studio designs furniture collections and interiors with a highly recognizable industrial style that is raw and refined at the same time.

Each project is unique and tailor-made for the client, whom we strive to represent in every detail, focusing on creating lifestyles through good design. This includes art, style, furniture, layout, colour schemes and the overall design fit.

The founder, Tommaso Spinzi, is a creative designer and consultant specialised in interior decoration and furniture design with a strong link with the world of art. He has worked in Switzerland, Australia and New York. This mix of international influences has shaped his approach to design, which remains also deeply influenced by his memories of Lake Como, his birthplace. Right from the outset, the studio has worked in different areas of design and in the most varied contexts. As well as being a collector of mid century Italian furniture, cars and motorbikes, Tommaso designs limited edition pieces for galleries and clients. His goal is to inspire, stimulate and finally create meaningful environments. The studio works closely with the client at every stage of the journey.
