Lefleté stool-side table
This stool-side table was created as a gesture of reconnection: an object that recomposes cultural, intimate and material fragments. Inspired by traditional Ethiopian headrests, it fuses memory and use, symbolism and function. The backrest, a reinvented element, narrates a moving identity, suspended between origins and present. My design is a wandering map: I collect the scattered fragments of my history, fallen along the way, and recompose them in a new form. In a time that separates, Lefleté is my way of stitching. It is an object, but also a passage. A fragment that lives, resists, connects.

My name is Abreham, I live in Milan and I am of Ethiopian origin.
I graduated in Product Design from NABA in 2022. Creativity, art and design have always been fundamental aspects of my life, and design has turned these passions into my profession.
I am inspired by Ethiopian culture and traditions; the simplicity of African design is the starting point for my products. My collections are born from the desire to connect Ethiopian historical and cultural authenticity with today's technology, imagining the shapes and machines of the future.
