san pietro in atrio

Stories of Paper / Collective exhibition at San Pietro in Atrio

On the occasion of its sixth edition, Lake Como Design Festival reopens the doors of San Pietro in Atrio, a deconsecrated church dating back to 1200 once connected to the nearby Basilica of San Fedele, with an exhibition in collaboration with Lithos Edizioni.

For the occasion, ten artists, designers and architects interpret the theme of lightness by creating new works using the ancient engraving technique. Wrapped in a contemplative atmosphere, the works dialogue with the original plates, while a musical background inspired by the lyricism of the manual gesture of engraving pays homage to the illustrious artistic heritage of knowledge and ability preserved and handed down by Lithos.
