The Archivio Design Ico Parisi announces the opening of the exhibition Ico Parisi e Giuliano Collina: arte condivisa (Ico Parisi and Giuliano Collina: Shared Art) at its headquarters on via Diaz, 11 in Como. The exhibition explores the artistic collaboration between Parisi and Collina, tracking its development from the 1970s until the 1995 closure of La Ruota, the historic atelier-art gallery and cultural meeting place founded by Ico and Luisa Parisi.

The exhibition features the famous ceramic objects co-created by the two artists: "Il profilo" (The Profile) plate and "La mela" (The Apple) basin, produced by the Zanolli&Sebellin company of Nove (Bassano) in 1971. These two pieces are accompanied by a series of photographs providing a firsthand record of the artistic dialogue between a young Collina and Parisi at the Venetian kiln.
Operation Arcevia – Photographic Study of the Environmental Installation, 1976
This initial collaboration was followed by other shared experiences, most notably the artistic contribution of Giuliano Collina for Operazione Arcevia. This project proposed an alternative community settlement to be built in Palazzo d’Arcevia (Ancona), and this year marks the 50th anniversary of its public presentation at the 37th Venice Biennale in 1976. Within the Archive spaces, visitors can view the original manifesto for Operazione Arcevia – Venice Biennale, alongside archival photographs and images of the artistic installation planned by Giuliano Collina.
