Ayumi
A soft, warm, and enveloping light that filters through a delicate and irregular texture. This is the sensory experience offered by the Ayumi collection, a series of lampshades made using a traditional Japanese paper modeling technique. Each lampshade is made from a circle of paper that is hand-pleated and coated to maintain the convex shape that holds the light. The handmade paper reveals a delicate and irregular texture. The natural fibers, skillfully woven, create a pattern that captures the eye and invites touch. During the crafting process, cocoa bean fragments are incorporated into the paper, a tribute to nature and its generosity. These small fragments, visible to the naked eye, give the paper an earthy hue and a delicate scent that is released when the light touches it.

Studio Lilium is Marco and Martina.
He, a product designer passionate about lighting, approaches design in an artisanal way: every idea and inspiration is created manually, as in the past, to thoroughly analyze all its construction details. She, a textile designer and researcher of stories, is passionate about colors and textures, two elements capable of conveying the true essence of an object.
