Sierra Kanistanaux is a self-taught ceramic artist based in San Francisco. Each piece she creates tells a unique story that contributes to a larger narrative, evoking nature, mythology, rituals and eternal symbols that transcend time and culture.
Through texture, pattern and form, the artist aims to awaken the senses and elevate our experience of the places we inhabit. His work is inspired by the many cities and towns he has called home, from the architectural elements of Europe and the Mediterranean to the natural forms of Montana and Northern California.
