Tavolo e Sedia
Collaboration is the core of Hand in Glove, embodied in the creation of Table and Chair. These pieces are the result of many hands and ideas coming together, an interaction of different “fragments”. At first glance, Tavolo and Sedia appear as studies in clarity: simple, balanced forms built through repetition and structure. Tavolo is made from three interlocking oak pieces; Sedia is joined with traditional woodworking techniques. There is no ornament—just pure form and quiet precision. Yet within their simplicity lies a fragility—not of material, but of meaning, shaped by the tension between function and deeper narrative.

Their construction is itself a story: fragments of wood, sourced from various trees and boards, meticulously cut and assembled. The joinery nods to tradition, while the design is firmly contemporary. These objects carry more than their physical form—they hold the history of material, craftsmanship, and the spaces they will inhabit.

The curves of Tavolo invite shifting light and shadows, giving the sense it has always existed. Sedia responds to the body with a gentle inward curve. Both pieces quietly evolve through interaction, touch, and memory.
