Researcher and visual artist. She holds a PhD in Aesthetics and Theory of Photography (Paris, EHESS-Sorbonne). She is the author of essays and curates publishing projects in Italy and abroad. She creates installations and visual projects for theatre productions, including The Book of Questions (original writing), The Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny by Brecht, Lear by Edward Bond, and Arrival. The Story of My Life, based on the work of Ted Chiang. She is co-author of the special projects IF / Invasioni (dal) Futuro and Art You Lost?, for which she also creates the visual environments for performances and installations. Together with Alessandro Ferroni, she co-directs the visual component of Les Adieux! Parole salvate dalle fiamme, as well as videomapping projects. She curates the content of When the Rain Stops Falling by Andrew Bovell, for which she also creates the video design. She creates art films for Politecnico di Milano.
Together with lacasadargilla, she is co-creator of the project Il Ministero della Solitudine, for which she co-edited the volume with Fabrizio Sinisi (ERT/Sossella Editore). In 2023, she worked as dramaturg and created the video project for Anatomia di un suicidio (Anatomy of a Suicide), which won five Ubu Awards in 2023, including Best Production. Also in 2023, she co-authored the special project Città sola (A Lonely City) and created the stage and visual environment for the performance based on Olivia Laing’s text. In 2022–23, she was part of the international art and science network Nativis. Beauté naturelle et perspectives écologiques, within which she designed and created the multimedia installation Arthropoda (2023) at the FRAC Picardie contemporary art collection in Amiens (production: NATIVIS, ESADHaR/EPHE, lacasadargilla).
In 2024, she created the visual environments for Uccellini by Rosalinda Conti (production: La Fabbrica dell’Attore/Teatro Vascello, in co-production with Romaeuropa Festival and Piccolo Teatro di Milano – Teatro d’Europa) and for Beautiful Creatures. Terre di lupi, di lantanidi e ginestre, a site-specific work inspired by Giuliano Scabia (production: MET). Together with lacasadargilla, she collaborates on the European projects S.T.A.G.E.S. (with Piccolo Teatro – Teatro d’Europa) and PLAYGROUND (with PAV).
